Speaker: Yoni Flenner

What Testing Will Look Like in 2030 (and How to Start Today)?
AI is no longer just assisting testers - it's replacing entire workflows. From intelligent agents that explore apps and report bugs, to self-healing automation and prompt-driven test execution, the testing world is evolving faster than ever.

Getting the Most Out of Appium Server

10:15–10:45
Speaker: Nir Gallner

Appium 2 has redefined mobile automation with a modular, plugin-based architecture, giving teams unprecedented flexibility to extend, customize, and optimize their server setup. In this session, we’ll explore how to leverage these changes—driver independence, dynamic plugin management, and streamlined capability handling—to unlock new possibilities in test execution. We’ll also look at how AI-powered tools can enhance your Appium workflow, from intelligent locator strategies and self-healing tests to smart failure analysis and test data generation. Along the way, you’ll learn practical techniques for tuning server performance, running scalable parallel tests, and integrating with both local and cloud device farms. Whether you’re automating Android, iOS, or hybrid apps, you’ll walk away with a blueprint for making your Appium 2 server faster, smarter, and future-ready.

Augmented Experiential Testing

11:00–11:30
Speaker: James Bach

James Bach doesn't use the phrase manual testing.
What most people call "manual," he calls experiential. Experiential testing means testing that seeks to reproduce the experience of a contemplated user. Experiential testing can be supercharged through the use of tools that extend a tester's senses and keep track of what he does. In this talk, James will show examples of such tools. They make testing more productive and fun.

Context-Based Test Automation Reporting & Analytics

11:30–12:00
Speaker: Nachum Dimer

Today, software teams use more and more AI in development and testing. But one part of QA has barely changed — test reporting.

Popular tools like Allure Report and ReportPortal are useful and reliable, but they only show the basic results you give them, such as pass/fail status and error messages. They don’t know what kind of tests you’re running or give extra context like Selenium/Playwright steps, performance data, or environment details.

In this talk, we’ll look at how to make your test reports smarter and more useful by adding context and better analytics. You’ll learn:
• Which test automation metrics really matter.
• How to add extra context in different testing frameworks.
• How enriched reports make it easier to find flaky tests, performance issues, and environment problems.
• How to go beyond simple “red/green” reports to get insights that improve your QA process.

By the end, you’ll have practical tips to build reports that not only show what happened in your tests, but also explain why it happened — helping your team fix problems faster and make better decisions.

Automated Testing - On Value, Gaps, and Measurement

13:00–13:30
Speaker: Dani Sela

This presentation explores the role of automated testing in modern software development. It highlights the promised benefits—faster time-to-market, improved quality, reduced costs, and higher system reliability—while also examining the gaps between expectations and actual outcomes. Practical examples of successes and failures from the field are shared, along with methods to quantify business value through measurable objectives such as TTM, cost reduction, and defect prevention. Ultimately, the presentation emphasizes that automation and AI only deliver real value when paired with the right metrics and continuous evaluation.
